The Role   

 

As a Sales Executive, you will pursue new clients from the partners and support key account activity to create mutually beneficial outcomes. A major component of the role is to support the Partner Managers and Account Director in delivering exceptional sales and service standards to new and existing Partners and Customers. 

You will be responsible for developing key contacts and networks related to clients and the industry, as well as build strong client relationships, works with key stakeholders (internal and external) to maximise business opportunity and growth. You will work in conjunction with the Partner Managers to Identify and gain new business through a sustained program of prospecting by cold calling, mailing, and following up referrals/leads and keeping abreast of competitor's sales strategies. You will also work with the Account Director to proactively call the client base to maintain relationships with existing contracts and revenues and grow these through cross-selling and up-selling. 

 

Are you able to…… 

 

  • Be the primary contact for predetermined tier 2 accounts and partners  
  • Actively identify and drive new business opportunities to build pipeline - Develop a plan and call cycle to attain new clients  
  • Ensure forecasted revenue of each deal is accurate and realistic, records deal, client, and company information accurately and clearly in CRM  
  • Meet targets set by organisation to close deals  
  • Progress opportunities through to closed sales  
  • Ensure all required service levels and ROI levels are actively being maintained  
  • Support the partner managers and key account director in acquiring new business and exiting merchants   

 

 

What we are looking for….. 

 

  • 3+ years’ sales experience in a similar B2B sales organisation    
  • Proven track record of achievement of target  
  • Professional manner, strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities  
  • Proven capacity to engage with key stakeholders and C level (internally and externally)  
  • Sound understanding of sales and negotiation processes, procedures and tools and ability to close the deal  
  • Sound knowledge of industry, and an understanding of our competitors (strengths & weaknesses).  
  • Strong commercial understanding and judgement, good business acumen, conceptual skills and possesses good presentation skills.  
  • Product knowledge of key solutions, Fintech and SaaS preferred
